Bought a new set of axles (strange), not sure if I have enough spline engagement on the one side. What is the minium. Ford 9" 35 spline. Car should run 8.80's

I would never run less than the OD of the axel. Like a bolt size that just seems to make sense to me.

I like to see 1.25 to 1.50 inches. depends on the application and if your running a locker or spool. You can never have to much!
