Some air cleaner designs can be a problem. The throttle body is very low (2" top to bottom) and the linkage may be taller than that, depending on which hole you use. You might try and reverse the linkage so that it aims down rather than up. Or, you might use a spacer ring to raise the bottom of your air cleaner. Our 4150 style throttle body is designed to flow 1215 cfm, which might be a little large for street use, even though it has progressive linkage for the secondaries.
