I have a 632 w/ big cheif heads and I was considering leaving on a small kit (spraybar) and with a relay turning off the spraybar and turning on my first fogger and activating my second fogger with my usual timer. Thanks for any advice!
Any experience with turning off a kit while turning on another?

I have done it they way you are talking about but its not the best way to go about it.
OR...you could leave on one kit, turn it off, and on with the second kit, and then turn the first kit back on in conjunction with the second kit, to have a third stage, both kits. Then let the second fogger come in on the timer.....WOOOOOHHHHH
Id do it with 2 relays...1 4 wire, 1 5 wire,
Power the second kit 4 wire relay, with the 5 wire relay, drop the ground on the 5wire to turn off the first kit, there by turning the second kit on, then give the ground back to pick up the third stage.

Mike, what 2qwk4u said above, it exactly what we discussed. I would like to hear what Monte thinks about the the spray bar (leaving it on vs turning it back off), and what he thinks about doing this with just the 2 foggers...1st kit (same as it is)--then turn it off while turning the 2nd fogger on (BIG pills), then turning #1 back on again. My concern is the jet spread and not being able to keep the A/F in check doing it this way.

I'm not a big fan of turning off a system once it's on. I just add to it from there as needed.. When you start turning things off and on several things start to happen.. Timing is trying to go back in, the next system is trying to pull it back out. The system you turned of is still dripping fuel out of the bars or distribution blocks as the nitrous in gone right away.... just never seemed to be the best results to me ?? just start and add on from there... SJ

In your situation, I would make the plate small and either leave on it and leave it on, or use it for a 3rd kit.....but..... big but here, I don't really like mixing a plate with 2 foggers. If it is a single bar plate, it should be your first stage only and fairly small. If a crossbar, it can be your third, but the tune will need to be razor sharp, as plates are inherently rich and you don't want that on a 3rd gun. Best case scenario, forget the plate and put one or both of your foggers on a progressive and get the power you need from them. You could still have the plate as a "3rd, oh shit I'm behind kit" to use on a limited basis.
