ok well i've been out of the game for near 1.5 years now and looking at building another motor eventually. i've always wanted to push my shit more rpm, faster and harder but never built it for that and needless to say, its taken a crap on the lawn more than once. here is what i wanna do:

i just want something that will last forever and push me into the low 11's, maybe high 10's on 87 octane. i figure a torque monster is in order. here's what i'm looking at:

421 sbc 6000rpm max
9.5-10:1 comp
AFR 195 eliminator
rpm airgap, ported
750 mighty demon or prosystems 950HP
hyd roller ~ either comp xr294hr or xr288hr

its a t-5 car, 4.30 gear and 28" tire.

any suggestions, ideas, comments would be great.

EDIT: car will weigh around 3200-3300lbs with driver once done.

haha ok guys, i see that a big block would solve all my problems but i want to stick with a small block. i've always had a small block and don't really want to switch.

but thanks for the advise, i will definitely keep that in mind.
