5.0 stroked 4.6 mod motor. Twin 6566 journal precisions, from oil pump -4 feed to Y fitting, then -3 to turbos with vibrant restrictors. Return is -10 to a individual reservoirs from turbos to T fitting from turbos to turbowerks exa pump to pan. Smoking like freight train via exhaust.

I have tried removing vibrant oil restrictors and putting a turbosmart oil pressure regulator inplace of Y fitting and then no oil feeds to turbos. FML...

Oil pressure cold is about 60 psi, operating temp is about 45psi.
That is an utterly terrible looking drain setup. Core is it a terrible angle, drain is just weird, as is the reservoir.

If you need a low profile discharge for the oil, Huron offer this


Just run those into a tee at low level so there is still some degree of gravity drain to the point where the exa draws from, and and then into the Exa. Keep it simple. And you will need a check valve on the supply line to prevent the core saturating with oil after shutdown. You do not need to restrict oil to the turbos, nor do you need a pressure regulator ( although maybe it might act as a check valve after shutdown ? )

Keep it simple.

No it doesn't act like a check valve. There is no replacement for a check valve. They help work wonders on the pesky ones.

Why mount the turbos so low? No room under the.hood to do it right??

I've built no room turbo systems that have worked VERY well. Gravity is your friend.
