I have an 8" GM converter with very little info about it. Could be an ATI. Only numbers found are on the converter snout. Screw in adapter. Anyone know?

Thank you Hutch. Do those numbers tell what it is or just a serial type number. Or should I just contact ATI?

That is a serial number. The first digit is the letter A. ATI should have all of the info on the converter when you call and give them that number.

Charlie at ATI was quite helpful with the converter info based on the numbers on the pilot. 8". 2004 build. 2009 extended pilot for 1/4" midplate. Never been cut open by ATI. For 468 700 HP 2900# bracket car. pProbably 5500 Stall. Offered it would probably fit with 1/8" midplate and gave instructions on spacers and watch for pilot bottoming on crank. Helpful as usual from ATI.
