I put the link because the weather is looking poor :(
I'm hoping I make it home in time to wait it out.
I'm very excited to see this.
We need more private industry based stuff instead of the governments fraud, waste, abuse & corruption screwing up everything!!!

hope it goes better than the Saturday launch...........do not need anymore dead astronauts
You'd be amazed at the ability for the capsule to separate from the rocket on the launch pad or during launch if anything goes south. That's not 100 percent but gives them a much better chance at survival than any previous launch in history. And who cares..they know the risks. Just like the guys running 3 second cars down unprepped tracks.

I'm at my home in Port St John. Doesn't look good weather wise. I'll be parked on the corner of King's Hywy and Rt 1 to watch. I'm about 13 miles from the pad.

Space X not really an American achievement........still cool but I sure do miss the true NASA days of America's best and brightest doing it for God and Country with slide rules and computers that would make a modern home thermostat look powerful.
