if you get it sand basted it will open the pores of the metal and be impossible to keep clean. If you have it shot blasted it will close the pores and be easier to keep clean. make sure you mask all the machined surfaces with several layers of heavy duct or rubber tape before you take it anywhere.
Hmm, makes sense I guess... this manifold definitely has pores (it's an old Edelbrock TR2X). Are there any specifics I should request as far as what size and type of shot, what Almen arc height range, etc.?
