I use a Mark Williams, 4" OD, with the glued on ends. I was skeptical at first vs. the welded on ends, bit it has handled many 0.98 to 1.02 60' times in 2400 lb car with no problems for the past 3 years.
We use M/W for all aluminum and PST for all C/f. Never had issues with either. M/W is a little pricey, but we've pulled out other brands and replaced them with M/W and the vibration went away. I guess you still get what you pay for with M/W.
