The tunnel going into CNYRP will be three(3) lanes (40' wide), so when traffic is exiting we will be able to use all three lanes. There will also be another tunnel on the Rt 81 side of the track that will exit traffic to the perimiter roads. The NASCAR garage on pit road is 56 bays. 28 will be for individual rentals (on a monthly basis). They will be lockable, with a built in work bench. The other bays in the garage will be open style, similar to Watkins Glen or NJ Motorsports Park. The garage will also have restroom and shower facilities. There will be fuel and tires available on premesis. We will have other buildings in the pits of the road course, such as a classroom building for Club Races, an office building and concessions. These will be provided by ModSpace and are moveable and not shown on the site plan. There will also be parking and camping autside the circuit. I expect to have full color renderings of the garage and restaurant sometime this month. When we get them they will be posted on our website and we will share the information with the media
The facility will contain an autocross track (it will be built in the area of the skid pad. we plan on having club events, Kart races, drag races, Motorcycle races etc as well as the special events on the ovsl.
We will have a drivers club and school. Peter Argetsinger is our chief instructor. Peter is the son of Cameron Argetsinger, the father of Road Racing at Watkins Glen and lontime head of the SCCA. Peter is the only American to ever win the British Formula Ford Championship and is a winner in all forms of racing. Peter has coached the likes of Damon Hill (Formula 1 Champion), Jaun Pablo Montoya, Ryan Hunter Ray and many others. He provided anti-terorist training for the British House of Lords.
Bobby Lutz, is one of our investors. (He is partners with Mario Andretti and Jeff Gordon in the NASCAR Driving Experience, in Charlotte). Bobby will be providing seven (7) Roush Mustangs, several "NASCAR Cup" cars, two Indy Cars and possibly a couple of BMW M3's for our Driving Experience.
We will have a full service restaurant on property, overlooking the oval and the road course. It will seat 300 in tierred seating (I copied the angle and layout of the Restaurant from Saratoga Casino and Raceway - as I opened the property and am still on good terms with the management, so the sight lines will be excellent). It will also have a 300 person banquet room with separate holding kitchen. This room is flat (tierred seating does'n work to well for Banquets), with an outdoor pation to view the oval and Roadcourse. The menu will be upscale casual and affordable. The restaurant will also have a permanent hotel style buffet for major events, sunday bruches etc. There will be suites, similar to an NFL football stadium on the upper level and a control tower that will control both the road course and oval. This complex will have outdoor patios with seating and a Pub style menu in addition to concession stands.
