Very nice. I've been trying to find some info on your combo, would you mind PMing it to me? Engine, heads, intake, RPM range, gearing, etc...

Mine is a bit of a lower rpm 427, 6400 rpm shift points and running [email protected] on pump gas. 2950 lbs last on the scale.

its a 438 smallblock with 245 highports and a super victor with hardly any work done 950 carb 410 gear,and a cam i picked out.
use to have dart 225s on it with out of box intake and it ran 9.77
with the darts i shifted at 6800 and went thru at 7100
the highports im shifting maybe 6900 and go thru at 7300
my cars in the 3050 area

Where did your compression come in at?

That thing must have a very efficient converter too........

What size rear tire?

converter is a ucc and it stalls 5200-5400,the converter has maybe 4% slip.
i footbrake the car i havent had any luck with the transbrake
my exhaust is 3 1/2 with ultra flows from dynomax
i was running a et street 28 inch tall 9.9 tread i have switched to a hoosier quick time pro
my water temp runs 160 in the winter and 180 in the summer,when i drive it to the track

Not much of a mustang guy.. as they are on every corner. but I gotta admit I like that motor/car combo. Nice job. Like the cage work too. You utilized the doors arm rests. Many poeple do not think that stuff out.
