Who is out there? Do we have enough to run a program using the Milan or VIR rules at Norwalk or Columbus? We've been taking a knife to a gun fight with our NA car at Norwalk. Seems like Milan gets a good car count. Are there enough cars in Ohio, and Eastern PA to support a series once a month? Would the MI cars travel to Ohio?

Norwalk and National Trail are planning rules for 09. NA racers need to let them know we are out there.

Paul -- don't you mean western PA. The eastern guys have Rich's series, I guess we also do but its a helluva drive for a one day deal.

Yes I did mean Western PA. Milan typically gets 16 cars. I assume they would come to Norwalk on an off weekend. I talked with Jim Layton at Trails last weekend and he is open to a series like Milan's program. RAM could even schedule a couple races here if it warrented.

First we need a roll call of potential cars. Then and most important who would be a potential sponsor. A track will run any program you want if someone pays for it.

The rules need to address a lot of combinations (sb, bb, intakes. suspensions, tires etc) yet remain simple. Nobody is going to be tearing motors down! I haven't run Milan but would adapt to those rules even though our small motor is at a disadvantage there too.

Why limit the discussions with the tracks to NA/All Motor only?? Would be great to see three (or four?) tracks at least run a common set of rules on non-conflicting dates for Outlaw10.5, Drag Radial, All Motor, RWYB.

There are only a couple races left in 2008 for Norwalk and Milan, its not too early to start talking about next year, especially if we can take it to the next level.

I would field a sponsorship proposal if you were serious about it!!!!

Great idea! What kind of money to win?

N/A only...

Trails said no more rentals. Ive tried to run a N/A class and it never had a good car count. so we dropped that class. I like it myself and if racers showed enough interest i would bring it back. we use kil kare in xeina ohio and its little over an hour west of trails. we do run 8 different classes now so it would be tough to add another.
