On a ~2000hp Twin GT4788 EFI 400cubic inch sbf on Alcohol, will a 4 gallon fuel cell be large enough??

Thanks,

enough for what?? 1/8th mile or 1/4. drive to lanes and back to pits?? or towed to and from. i would say probably not. what if someone plays some games at the line and you got to wait a bit.

i had a 17 litre tank, (i think is less than 4 gal) with around 1700 - 1750 hp 420" SBF with a 94mm and it used less than a 1/3 of a tank, towing to the lanes and towing to the pits. with a large burnout.

i think 4 gal would be enough, but i'm not expert.

well i make something like 650ish on c16 and blow thru. use about 1.5-2 gal a run but i drive back. now more than double the power and double fuel needed it would be close. try it if you have it already. do some 1/8th hits and kill it see whats left in the cell. just be careful it dont go lean if it starts to run out

depends on how thristy the motor is.. some like more than others. i would have to agree with 1/8th mile hits first.

my car goes 6.50's @ 220 and it only uses 2 gallons for a run. towed up and back obviously. 4 should be no issue..........
