I retired from a huge breakfast cereal manufacture.Because it was a food plant, everything in the plant was stainless steel. Pipe threads made out of stainless are a bitch to seal.The tool crib had various options of personal choice of sealers to use. But this is the best we had. If it don't seal, your threads are really screwed up. I believe GM uses this same stuff on thread fittings into their coolant
