I am converting my mustang to carb and I took out the computer. I am going to disconnect all the air bag sensors that run to the computer. I want to make sure when I hook the battery back up the air bag don't deploy or while I'm driving the air bag don't come out. So does it sound like I'm safe ?

The computer in the car does not control the air bags. There is a blue box under the radio in the center console. That blue box is what controls the airbags.

Don't forget about the sensor behind the driver in the quarter panal. Pull the plastic panal away and you will see it.

So as long as I keep that blue box hooked up and front sensors I'm good? Just taking out the main computer won't hurt anything
