Which 23* head is better for a max effort 555 on nitrous? Which one will support more rpm? I am asking about these two heads because I can get a great deal on ether one.

short deck dart block
diamond nitrous pistons
bme rods
calies crank
hellfire rings
super victor intake
cam not picked yet.
ect. ect.

I wouldn't use either, .. Dart 380, BMF 385, RFD 390, ..
and port the HECK out of the super victor.

If it's a "max effort" deal you need to put some serious cylinder
head on it, . . and have the cnc heads worked over as well.

Of the 2, i'd prefer the AFR for quality and strength of the casting alone, however i agree. Both will limit rpm, and choke with the NOS

Max effort on spray don't wast your time with store bought out of the box stuff unless your wanting to make ash trays.

Spend it once and get the proper head mods done for the spray. Buy them from Curtis.
