ROFLOL.

we used to do that, but we did it the hard way. we would lite the torch, get the AFR reight, then snub it out on the driveway. then fill up the ballon & tape a fire ******* to it & then light the firecracker & run like hell. LOL.

If you want to really have some fun, use an old antifreeze jug for the container for the mixture. The thicker walls give the burning gasses a bit of resistance prior to giving way, resulting in a louder bang. Fun stuff, here!

Any of you ever drill tiny holes in your buddies headlights (sealed beams) and fill with the torch gases, and seal with scotch tape, then when he goes to go home at night and turns on his lights they blow out. He'll be pissed but it's hilarious. You might have to drive him home though!!!!!!!!!!

Somewhere I have heard never store an acetylene cylinder on its side or the contents seperate, become unstable, and blow up.

Ive been told the same thing for years... something about the sand in the tank seperates from the gas, causing it to become very unstable. We were always told to let the tank stand upright for a few hours minimum to let everything settle back down before using it.
