Check Mark Williams. They sell bearing/spacers to work in different combo's.

You just need the correct spool bearing for a 3.25 case. Should be able to get about anywhere.

By that, I'd say you can go either way. Which would be better though, or does it really matter ?

The race is better in my opinion becuase with the sleeves you press them on then the bearing onto the sleeve, not that I have heard a problem but it has the possibility to spin on the journal and mess everything up when a thicker race works like normal.

We have the races custom made for us, Timken does not make them that I know of. Mark Williams has the sleeves..
