I have a new project that is going together and will be 2700# or just under and have 925-950 RWHP.
Just curious what I could see out of this combo.

275's,'glide and it's a boosted combo.

I will post pics soon but it's not a nova and chevelles are coil spring cars that are 3300-3400#+. I just sold a twin turbo 70.

Factory weight on this car is 2520# and I will lighten it considerably but adding the 25.5 & turbos should bring it back to factory weight.

That power in a chassis car would go mid 7s. But it would be 2200 lbs and a 3/4 scale pro stock body.

2700 lbs is light for a car that was once 3600+

Ron rhoads is what 2750 or so in race trim with his 68 camaro..an if using wallerace e.t calculator remember he said 925-950 rwhp..the e.t calculator you use fly wheeel numbers..so he would be in the 1100 hp zone..

Lol my new mustang will be around 2500# with me in it an my ls1 or less with only cut up doors an glass hood an gutted but still have all the street equipment like wipers,lights an horn..no cage in it for now though till winter..but once caged i will be around the same weight because ill trim out all the roof bracing an extra metal in the car..i figure with the s480 motor im getting ready to do ill be 2700# or so then..light weight is prob the only damn thing i like about fox bodys..

Ya, light is the way to go. I was heavy on my estimate and low on my hp estimate,realistically it could be as light as 2500# with driver and 1100rwhp.

I'm gonna weigh it this weekend. About 1000# less than the chevelle I'm hoping.
