This is my 91 GT converted lx. Built just for bracket racing.
Started this build spring 2017 finished September 2018. Anyway was able to make it out for the last weekend at my home track. Made 8 passes and broke the forward drum in the c4. Pulled it all out in favor of switching to a glide over this Winter. Did surprise me though, car ran 7.0's in the 1/8

FTI 4000 9.5" converter

That's moving for those mods you listed! My H/C/I 308 with a 100 shot is running 7.0 in the 1/8 with a freddy brown aod. My car is pretty heavy though.
Powerglide came in from Coan, new valve covers, better thicker rails, stamped steel ones were leaking, put in new precision products shifter. Ordering converter soon and then get this thing put back together.
Figured I'd update. Raced the car last at Mid Michigan motorplex super pro challenge. After that brought the car home and started mini tub process. Also went to nine inch, narrowed. 15x10 wheel 3" BS, lightweight spool, light weight 4.30 gear set. Team z tube k member and a arms, strange race brakes all the way around. Also ordered fiberglass hatch, hood and doors.
Cool. What do you think your car weighs? It's got to be quite a bit less than 3000 lbs? That's a good time for a 302 and an auto. I always think the early mustangs like mine are light until I see a stripped fox body.
Not too sure honestly, never weighed it. I ended up not putting glass doors or the hatch on, just the hood.
