I'm building an 85 wagon and was wanting input on putting a VFN one piece front end for 79-85 mustang on it. I plan to have it air brushed to look just like the stock nose. My question is do any of you guys for see any issues with rules, as it is technically not a front end for an 85 LTD station wagon. The dimensions are the same as they are both foxbody's. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I would assume that if it looks the same , it will fit in. As most rules state stock appearing. At least that is my hope anyway.

I don't see it being a problem....it's a fox Mustang front end, just like 99% of the field anyhow.

I had considered doing the same on my Fairmont, would be nice to know if it's ok before shelling out the money on the front end.
