Hutch,
I have a 727 behind my AMC and I have run it for years. It's mostly stock with a Turbo Action reverse valve body.
Car runs in the high 10's and mid 9's on the spray. Car weighs 3200#.
I want to upgrade the trans over the winter and correct any weak links. What do you suggest?

I would look at a low roller clutch upgrade if what you have is in question when its apart , maybe a steel cap front planetary and a billet front clutch drum. If its been running as well as it has for all these years it can't be too wrong.
