We are using an Ultimate 8" UCC converter with about 775 ft lbs of torq. Lenny made it as tight as possible. The slip data looks good mathematically. 7400rpm trap/ 94.4" rollout/ 4.56 gear/ 141mph. The incrementals are 'off' IMO 1.39/[email protected]/[email protected] So as you see the back half is pretty strong for a NA motor. Yes we need to get the 60ft down in the low 1.30 range. Anyway I was wondering if he could be 'driving-thru' the converter in the first half and then at high rpm the converter locks up near 5%??? We have been told it may be necessary to upgrade into a larger diameter converter but that was BEFORE we had any run data. Thank you!
