Just fitted a rebuilt 700r4 into 57 chev with std 327, trans is std apart from vette servo. Problem is it has late shifts from 1-2 2-3 regardless of where tv cable is set. Any ideas of what to look for?
Thanks

Sometimes the tv valve sticks a bit and driving will free it up or a product call Lubeguard.Doesnt take much to stick them sometimes. You try to be perfect and clean when rebuilding them and clean cooler and they can still stick. That assuming you have the right hookup for your cable and set right.Sometimes just stabbing the gas a few times frees them up.

For sticky tv valves I really like the transgo jr kit. That valve is the best part of that kit. Much better than the cheesy anti stick spring from the factory and some other kits. You might have to get a governor recalibration kit to adjust your shift times. Vince
