Wondering if the 6al2 I have will handle a Sbf with 200-300 shot? I want a power grid but don't have the cash for that now

If this is the MSD 6530 programable box, the answer is yes. I would be more concerned with having a crank trigger on the engine when you start spraying over 200hp.

It's not the programmable box but I do have the multi retard box to piggy back off the 6al2 . Also have a crank trigger

I run a 6al with a multi step retard on my 580 on 2 systems. Crank trigger and big cap distributor. Works great.

We run a 6al also, with a grid . 438 sbf with 1 big plate.
