A clone to one a pal had in the 70's, I built the 440, it would fuck up the rat motor stuff I cobbled in the era, ran low 12's and was a street car, 4 speed of course.

I guess beauty must be in the eye of the beholder...all those square front and rear ended late 60's Dodges are ugly as fuck to most of us. They're only worth something because most of 'em were wrecked, crushed or just rusted away sitting in a driveway just like the rest of the cobbled together cheap ass Dodge stuff.

Flame on, Mopar lovers!
Think so?
How many Pontiacs or Buicks were featured in TV shows and movies? They had similar sales numbers, right?
I can name 2 movies with a Chevelle in it. FASTER with the Rock and Jack Reacher with Tom Cruise.
The list of TV shows and movies with 2nd generation Dodge Chargers is as long as a porno dick.
Admit it, you have looked at porno dicks.....

I didn't say there weren't a bunch of them in movies.

I just said they're ugly as fuck.

There are a lot of fat, ugly women in movies, too, that doesn't make 'em desirable or movie stars.

By virtue of the current pricing of 68-70 Chargers, the classic car hobby disagrees with you. Good for you....you don’t want one.

^ Yeah I was -never- a Mopar guy but always thought 2nd gen Chargers were beautiful.

Didn't like 70's for a long time but the front end has grown on me and I think the interior is better than 68/69.

I like the 68 grill the best. The 70 harmonica the least. Marker lights (dots) of the 68 are also the best.

gotta go with the 69/70 tail though.

A triple black 68 has got to be the most evil looking car to ever come out of Detroit.

I go back and forth with 68/69 in terms of preference with front end and tail lights. Both are awesome.

Agreed on 68 Marker lights not only because they are small and round but also actually lights and not just reflectors.

Cool cars and the coke bottle styling is very attractive. I also love the rear window being “flanked” by the body. Which is why a 66/67 GTO or Chevelle ect; look so good to me.

From the side it has an undulating line and other than the front/rear styling what I find unique about it is how much wider the body is compared to the -canopy-.

Chevelle/Nova/GTO of same era are great looking cars but a pillars and sail panels transition to the body without much drama in comparison.

One MOPAR I have never wished to own, from a 3/4 angle level with the doorhandle it looks like the whole rear end is bent down from the C post back as though a truck has rear ended it.
However, if the right deal was there all that bollox above would not count.....but there aint no deals left on Chargers, fk that for £50K and up.

I owned a 66 but never a 68-70 I looked at one when I was 19 or so and went to get the money to buy it. On the way back someone else was driving it home

No different than women when they find out something is expensive.

Must be cool, right, just because it's high priced. Or rare. Automatically inspires want.

Minority? Probably. Miniscule? Bullshit, lots of folks don't care for their lack of style. Shit, man, did they not have anything ideas other than squared off for front and rearends on these?

Dodge's major contribution to muscle car styling didn't come around until '70. Those Challengers/Cudas are some damned nice looking cars.

Charger....normal car with usually lots of extras inc electric windows in some cases
Roadrunner......first car ever to be called a Muscle car, it coined the phrase and everyone else copied it, "keep fit" windows, no servo, drum brakes, taxi cab interior
Challenger and Cuda.....Pony cars that handle a bit better than their bigger brothers....die for a '71 Cuda but it aint happening, had a '70 4 speed in '93ish, biggest mistake ever selling it LOL
Fury's.....Tuna boat to haul 7 people down the Motorway in comfort.
Miss this old 300 pool car we had back in the day
