Can anyone tell me what the widest rim/tire combo I can get under my 68 Camaro would be. I have 15x8's on it now with a 275 drag radial. I am planning on building a fab 9 and removing the 12 bolt, still utilizing the factory suspension, but did not want to mini tub unless absolutely necessary. Any suggestions or info. would be appreciated. Maybe even some photos would be great! Thanks

For you guys running 10" wheels, is your fender and inner wheel well stock? Does the tire contact anything? I run an 8" wheel with 28x10.5's and 275's. I also had a set of 28x12.5's on and they fit. But when I tried a 10" wheel, it stuck out under the fender lip a bit (looked ugly) and had a little contact on the inner wheel well. Not that I "need" one. I was considering a 9" wheel, but I'm interested in your feedback.

on my 69 it was more of a problem because the 1/4 does not arch .15x8s w 4.5bs was all i could do and a 15 x 10 w4.5 stuck out and 15x10 w 5.bs spread the tire out so the sidewall was into the inner. So this is what i did champion added 1/2" to each side and now i have a 15x9 w5.0 bs with a 9" tire.fits like a glove and puts all the tire to the ground.

I had to put a small dent in the front lower outside wheel well. The tire does not contact anything.

Currently I have a 15x10 with 4.5 bs. The tire is even with the quarter panel so it sits up kinda high. Going to mini-tub it pretty soon and get a wheel with between a 5.5 or 6.5 bs to help tuck the wheel and tire under the car more and lower the rear end some. Sure hope it doesn't effect the way the car leaves now.

I'm running 30 x 9 (92.5" rollout) radial slicks on 10's with 4.5" backspace. I also run 275/60 drag radials but I personally don't like the dinky look of a 28" tire on a Camaro.

any wheel well work in the front or back of the well to get a 30" tire in there?looks like it sticks out under the fender a bit how bad is it?got another angle shot of your car? very nice 67 you got by the way. Thanks Chris

If it sticks out it doesn't stick out much. Not enough to notice or look bad. Yes, there has been some profiling of the wheel openings in front and behind the tire but the moulding covers it.
