what is the difference in the lowers and uppers , from the early to the later 60s? i saw some tubulars that were listed to fit all of them , and some that only fit the later versions...?

I understood the difference was in the ball joint and bushing designs for the variation in spindle design. Dont quote me, I might be wrong.
