Diamond just quoted me 1200 with pins and rings and they are only 4 weeks.
Can you get them to guarantee you the delivery as that sounds very optimistic on their end from what I've been hearing from people.

No they are probably just telling me what I want to hear. Racetech told me 12 to 14 weeks and I will probably go with them. They were the most helpful guy's ive ever talked to. Plus I just dropped the crank off today and will drop my rods off next week. A little bit more time will help spread the cost of everything over a little time. Bullet is 4 weeks out on the cam.

If you change the stroke from 3.75 to something larger in stroke you change the demand of the combination. The cam will need to change.. If your changing stroke you need to call Bullet and put it on hold.
I called them yesterday on this build so they are up to date.

We've been waiting MONTH on Wiseco's for Gen III hemi pistons. Have 20+ engine in the works and various stages waiting on pistons. Bet it's 5 months. Just got the first batch of 7 set's a week ago.

Now as far as your combo. Done many of them and similar. THEY RUN. Like Scott said, IF you can get the deck cut down that helps too. Mine is 3.75 with 6.660 rod and CH is right around 1.00. Block is cut way down. Did another that came out to pump gas 478" with BMF 350's, Super Vic and at 3250 car ran 9.01. BUT all ours REV. 8300+.

Remember, and Nick can chime in on this, 4.600 x 3.75 is old NHRA Pro Stock sizing. Our best 499 has been 6.80's at 2880 in a 10.568 Camaro with Nitrous but that was like 10/12 yrs ago. And with Raptor 12 deg heads and cast single

I know that I could spin it harder than 73-7500. It will have a plate on it for a small shot. I think it will be a fun engine. I told my buddy it's a DZ 499 !

Not much lift
It's going in a 21 ft. Vdrive. They asked me for where I wanted it to cruise which I said 4500 rpm and I didn't want to spin it past 7500. I figured it would live very happily for a long time and still be alot of fun in the boat. Strong bottom end and shaft rockers up top. 65-70 dam to dam with some throttle bursts in between. Little nitrous to try and pull on some of the twin turbos running around in other river cruiser type deals. It's really about pulling from 30mph to 90mph in this thing.

Racetech is great, I use them all the time. Randy always helps me out there. Custom is going to be it and just wait for that combo. If you find a rod piston combo that would work, that is available, I may buy your Crower rods.
If you're going to spin any kind of rpm, your limit (@ 500ci) is going to be the heads and intake. I was thinking a little more outside the box with the short stroke/short deck combination and a LOT of rpm but your induction won't support it. I would target your build around making peak power somewhere in the low to middle 7k rpm range. I agree with Nick. ^

In twin 427's vintage road race with dual plane intakes and 12.5 to 1 compression just made 745HP at 7000 rpm and cams net were .680/.650 and mid 250 duration on 109 LSA...I promised the customer 700HP.
What size intake valves and which heads were on those?!!!! Nice numbers.
