Im putting together a 496 bbc, with a f3 123mm gear driven procharger... I have everything for the motor except a fuel system... Planning on running big stuff 3 fuel injection with either gas or alky, And was wondering what kinda stuff i would need to get it running well on alky? I have a 3000 hp intercooler, brand new, but don really want to cut the car up to use the intercooler on gas... Thats why im leaning more towards running it on alcohol without an intercooler(straight from the blower into the motor with fuel injection) Just wondering what would be best and what kinda et's i could expect?

Some Moran 500's would work but I'm not sure if you would need 2 sets or not

sounds like i should just stick with gas and the direction i was going, what kinda pump and injectors would be suitable for a c16 setup?

Not sure about big stuff but with XFI 500 moran and 160"s no problem with idle on alky. Injectors not staged 80psi base pressure engine idles about 5.5 afr 1150-1200 rpm and will go leaner. we use a 20 gal pump and engine uses about 16.5 gpm and about 85% duty cycle 42-45 lbs boost.

I guess non-intercooled alcohol carb would be a bad idea? I already have a 3000 hp intercooler i should prolly jus use it and run fuel injection with gas.....

If you run gas you could run on 2 160's and a 10-14 GPM pump. PS I have a Atomic Areomotive pump for sale .

Should be fine. I run a magnafuel 1000 belt drive, works great.

ETs depending on the engine combo and car, I like gas the best, then meth. and I dont like Meth carbs at the 2000 HP level and above.

Ive seen and worked on a few combo's like this, but I dont know anything about an Edelbrock intake, specs of your cam (dur and lobe sep) or how much rpm and boost your going to make..


Seen a 18psi combo non intercooled gas deal make 1400hp and a max out effort 572 (memory 27psi?) make 2100.

At 3400ibs, poor the coals to it and run 7's.
