Hey guys I got a new engine on the stand(436 cid sbc) its got a 4150 style intake, but I'm going to run a 4500 carb with the adapt spacer 2", I already have several 4150 style N2O plates,I always heard to run your plate right under the carb, whats the neg. side of running it under the spacer? Or is there a neg. side? Do I need to buy a 4500 N2O plate?

i would think running a 4500 plate on top of the spacer to the 4150 intake wouldnt be the most effective route.(i could be wrong) Placing the nitrous plate on the manfiold and stacking up from there will make the nitrous system to hit harder too.

if you put a 4500 plate on top it will be to far from intake runners and the spray will hit the sides of adpt instead of going down runners.

i think what he was trying to say is with the plate on top of the adapter, i would think the distribution coudl be thrown off.
