naturally the better quality chrome moly types are going to cost more

i use FK and be certain that they are chrome moly...

is the ball wearing out or is the shank / thread area failing...
...or what...???

when the assembly is square to "the run",

you can use a solid clevis instead which can / usually is four times stronger than the "swivel end"...

Well I guess I'm wrong again. Worked on a guys' old roadster awile back that he had bought....it had clevis' on the housing end of the ladder bars. I tried to get him to change to heim's. I would have never thought clevis were a good choice for suspenion pieces. You never get too old to learn lol.

Solid rod ends WILL BREAK if they get into ANY kind of bind!!!!

Spherical rod ends ALLOW some movement, unlike solid ends.
