I have a new fox project and was going to do a big single but now i am thinking about doing twins. Here is what i have 379cu/in sbf, 4.155 bore,3.5 stroke,6.2 rod,10:1 comp, Fox lake Victor Sr heads 2.125/1.625, Solid roller 248/248 .700/.700,SuperVic 2929. Still havent gotten the blowthru carb but will go with CSU. Thinking about running E85 but might stick with C16 or Q. Car has TH400 and a brake with a 3:27 rear.(might change gear) Still don't have the converter yet either. So now to my main question do you guys think i can spool a set of S472 turbos with the 83 turbine and .90 T4? I know it could just hoping i wouldnt be on the brake at 6000rpm with a 2000rpm power band. Looking for around 1500hp @ 20-25psi but a little more would be better. I would also be interested in other turbos (except precision) if someone has a better idea. Thanks!

Big.... But with a different cam optimized for twins you might have a shot.

Cam is a comp and it is out of the engine right now. I'm not sure what the grind number is. Think it is in the realm of regrinding or would i need a new cam? LSA is 114 right now and i could change rocker arms to play with the lift just not sure how much i could change the duration.

i wouldnt sweat it. i was in the same dilemma debating a single or twins to fit rules. in my case when you crunch the numbers twins won hands down. i have a 374 inch sbc with s372's upgraded to 87mm turbines in 1.10 housings ([email protected] .735/.715 115 sep) .
