I have a 1990 F-350 with a 351w. It has around 100k on it.
Months have gone by now an i attempting to solve a oil pressure issue.
1. Oil pressure: Sometimes it has it sometimes it don't (watching gauge you can see it go to normal then start jumping around till it zereos out ,confirmed zero oil by pulling filter off while running still)
2. New oil pump installed along with new strainer. Also checked dizzy for excessive play, was fine an timing was dead on(yes a timing light was used).
3.Confirmed on one head has drain back to pan.
4.Has never lost power. An When motor has oil pressure it runs quiet an smooth.
5.Does not make difference if its hot or cold.
What else should i look at or should try before calling it dead an just rebuilding the damn thing.
