I have the BF 325/50/15 now and was wondering what would be the diff in the 2 Mickeys in 325 and the 315's? Is the 315 that much of a bigger tire, I'm sure the width will fit but there's 2 inches of height and 7 inches of roll out diff.

Most of the 315 cars ive seen are running the 14 in rims and the 12 on the others

I normally run a 10.5/28 drag slick on the 8 1/2 rim, just worried about the diamiter and IF the tire grows?

I have a 8 1/2 rim now and figuring Ill prob need a 10 in, its a 70 chevelle

Thanks for any input

Rob:)

Rob,

The P315/60R15 is a significantly bigger tire than the P325/50R15. The tires do not grow, but I would recommend running them on a 10" wide wheel minimum.

If you have a P325/50R15 on the car now, I think you would be happy with our version, even if you go to the P295/55R15.

Thanks,

thanks for the info, I could put something bigger than the 325, but the height on the inside might be too close, I wouldn't mind the roll out of the 315, but to be safe prob stick with the 325's. Just need to find a deal on them now

if you can fit a 29.5 x 10.5W (3062W), would it be safe to assume that the 315/60/15 should fit as well?
The biggest slick Ive run is the firestone 28/10.5/15. That tire when the car twist, the rh front edge of slick would rub the inner frame some,

The pick i have of the 29 Im not sure whats been done to that car to fit? it was just at the drag strip.

The concern i have is the dia rubbing the inner fenderwell ,I hate to have to c notch the frame just to fit that tire.

I would really like to test for a old/bad 315 before buying a new set,

My warehouse with shipping is $398 to the door,I guess I could try them and if they didn't fit dump them

I have a 70 Chevelle like you and I have a 29.5 x 10.5W on a 10" wheel and it fits great. No rubbing, just rolled the lips n the 1/4 panel.

the slicks expand, that is why i don't see a problem with me fitting a 315 radial. just thought i'd ask though
