first off, i know i need a glide and im going that route when moneynpermits. In the mean time, will short shifting my manual th350 on the 1-2 shift simulate the glide some by keeping the motor in the torque band??

i normally shift my 430 sbc at 7200 so what would be a good place to start??

i know everyone is going to say try it and see, but i was just fishing to see if anyone had donr this before or had similar eperiences

its a nitrous sbc with a IS plate and 4.10 rear gear

i have had good luck leaving in 2nd with a th350 4.32 in the rear @ 2950 413 sbc IS plate system 1.23 leaving on the footbrake. maybe some one can help with this. does the final ratio of 4.32 to 1 help keep smaller motor moving after the shift ? this combo is different and maybe limited on different areas any replies would be great.
