I saw a [email protected] mph 1,000ft yesterday, didn't watch the whole show. They will start going faster and figure out a way to make them run harder to the 1,000ft and blow them up before 1,000 ft.
Either way 300 or 330 mph and an extra 300 ft shutdown doesn't mean shit when you're at 300 mph and have an explosion and don't slow the car down it won't matter if you have 300 more feet or 1000 more feet, crash your ass into something going 200 mph+ and you're fucked.
It's time they find some money to shell out to start fixing tracks so they have safer shut down engineered for runaway cars, the tracks they can't fix they shouldn't run fuel cars at.
