Yeah and Maple Groves run off is short as hell, then you get to cross the street to the sandThey always run in good air @ NHRA Maple Grove race. If they don't make a rule change by then you will see some real Fast 1000' passes there!
They are anywhere from 270-285 at the 1/8th actually depending on the altitude and weather.those cars only pick up about 50mph on average in the last 1/8th mile. on their faster runs they do pick up more. they are already going well over 250 at the eighth. racing to 1000' is not the answer.
