I have a 9" rim with 28x10.5s on it and have clearance.

I would like to put a 29x10.5 and Im sure it would fit initially but im concerned with growth.

Anyone else run them on a stock wheeltub Mustang? Mine is a 90.

I'm building a '79 and doing the minitub and I want a little more clearance. I'm going to take about an inch off the front and rear of the lip. My car is a coupe but it shouldn't make a difference. I mocked up some 10.5x31 and that's what I needed for clearance which is larger than the 29.5's but you get the idea.

Yea, I know that I have room to fit them in there but...

At 180 those things get tall and thin...
