Any of you guys running a 25.3 style funny car cage behind where a traditional b pillar would be, like the pic below of red victor 3?

is there any disadvange apart from having a steering column that looks like its 10 feet long on the cabin side.

any pics would be appreciated.

67 camaro, dragweek kinda deal.
Vass engineer wont sign off the cage if bar is visible from drivers window.
Any pics of yours coops?

You can just make out that the front bars of the funny cage start at the pillar...............





Edit: LOL...that's not a very good shot really..........

..nuther one, it's not as far forward as it looks....it's almost in line with the pillar.

I build them with the Funny car cage behind the Main hoop when they need to be set back that far.

have a look for some pics of Don Ness chassis.

He does the main hoop as the front of the funny car cage, with the FC cage going behind the main hoop

Murray Anderson also does them like this

fairly crappy picture but you can see how far forward the main hoop is, the funny car cage goes behind that.
