SBC 23 degree. AFR heads, 1050 carb. One run NGK -10s. 1/4 mile pass. Renegade Nitrous 120 Fuel. Two stage NX plate. Approximately 300 shot at 17 degrees total timing and 6.5 psi. Towed back to pits.
When viewed with magnifying glass I did see what seemed to be very small black specks on porcelain of a few plugs.
What would be accessment of condition of plugs and/or recommendations for tune up?
Thanks for the help. I'm new to reading plugs.

Are the pics of the plugs from the same run? The pics of the plugs cut open are difficult to tell, ones dim and the other is bright. For a 300 shot 17 degrees seems really low total timing, the FP also seem high.

photo in the middle flash went off on camera.
This is the point I was just making last week on the thread asking for a plug thread sticky. The pics can really change the look of the plug just based on lighting. SJ

Sorry, just double checked the jetting I was using on that run.
Looks like it may be closer to a 320 shot. 1275 pph total.
I'm glad to hear that some think it might be too little timing because I was thinking the other way.
