Hellcat swap, GM's V8s can't make anywhere near that without some aftermarket .800+ lift cam and head work :)

First thing GM needs to do is forget the 777 and figure out how to keep the 650hp engine they already have in one piece.

This isn't going to happen. Made-up nonsense, with the 'devil' torque numbers and all, that would render a Camaro a tire-shredding uncontrollable monster in the hands of most people. With 30 more hp and 2-300 pounds less weight, the standard SS will wind up being nearly as quick as the current ZL1, anyway, at least on the street.

FYI, they figured out the problem.

So failure to follow the recommended procedure was the cause, and Ford guys were belly bumping to celebrate the failure of less than one percent of 9k vehicles? Lol at the typical haters. The new production off the assembly line Z06 has no equal right now at all. It would slaughter the unicorn Ford GT or anything else Ford ever produced. Period.
