From Comp Plus:
Jim Cunningham couldn’t help but smile last Wednesday before headed out to the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio. Sitting in his Crownsville, Md.-based shop were the new 2010 Ford Mustang bodies delivered from Ford Racing.

“One is headed to Don Ness’ shop and the other will go to Jerry Haas,” Cunningham explained.

Cunningham told CompetitionPlus.com the transformation of his team is on schedule with the new engine parts slated for implementation later this month and the new bodies mounted, painted and tested before the NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.

Members of the Ford Racing engineering staff were in Norwalk and according to Cunningham were displaying the prototype Ford parts expected to make the manufacturer competitive in the Pro Stock division for 2010.

I liked pro stock better "back in the day" when they used real production bodies.
Now a 2010 PS Mustang, Camaro, or Challenger in real steel would be pretty freakin' wicked!

Robert Duvall in "Days of Thunder".....sort of!

WOW what a dream that would be, MUSTANG vs. CAMARO vs. CHALLENGER. If that does not reignite interest in Pro-Stock, nothing will.
