On a 2008 Harley, stock other than drag pipes with baffles ( sorry don't know the brand its a buddies bike) what would be the best tuning option, the bike currently pops on decel if you chop the throttle and is also kinda gutless past half throttle and 3500 rpm.

What do you guys like?

Assuming its injected, almost any of the simple fuel programmers will work fine, All you need to do is add a bit of fuel and all of them do that. Power Commander is sort of the old standby and you can use it for any upgrades. Maps are pretty widely available.

As far as tuning, the best thing is to get rid of the drag pipes. They just don't work all that well on evo's and TC's. A 2-1 works about as good as any. I like the Propipe with a bit of modification on the baffle. RB RAcing makes a great pipe if you don't mind dealing with typically poor customer service.

The wierd thing (to me anyway) is that the PCV install video they disconnect the O-2 sensors, its a shame to take an engine with a full closed loop system and then eliminate the O-2 signal and just run it from maps with no feedback? Does the PCV still respond to the knock sensor or is that disregarded<>ommited also?
