As far as I know(which isn't far) GM didn't make a v10-but ford and dodge did

GM did make an experimental V10 in the '90s. I remember reading about it. They put one in a C4 Corvette to go against the Viper. Chevy had to lengthen the front fenders like 6" to get the engine to fit.
