I purchased a XS battery and 30 amp power supply. Previously my car had 2 Optimas. Its 15-1 with 34 degrees in the crank trigger. Ran 6 rds over 12 hours last Saturday. The majority of the charge was completed in 10-15 minutes along with running the pump and 2 fans (40 amp draw). Then it dropped to 5 amps or less. Cranks way better. Had to turn the fuel pump down. It went from 33 to 39 psi. Replaced the voltage regulator in the East Coast mini. Other than that there were no other changes. So far I like it.

Ha, yes I am! Mine are original from 1988 when I bought the car new! The gears on my other car though........ Well, I simply welded the mechanism where it needed to be and close it like a normal trunk/hatch now!
PS: I have an Ed Quay spoiler on the back and can use the four strut rods to keep it closed when that hatch motor decides its had enough..............
Hmm, my last set of 16 volt batteries were XS, and they were starting to slow down after 5 seasons, so I switched to a pair of 16v Go-Lithiums. On my 3rd year with them, so far they are awesome.
