Hi. What I'm working with is roughly a 2600-2700lbs small tire nitrous car, making over 2,000hp but under 2,500hp. I'm interested in ordering a carbon shaft in a month or so, and was wondering what size U joint was necessary? Any pros or cons to either size joint? I was looking at the PST 3.75 carbon drag race shaft. Thanks for any help. I can answer any questions if more info is needed.

I've ran 1350 solid Spicer joints in a 3.5" .120 wall aluminum shaft in a 3700#+ turbo streetcar @1500whp and NEVER had any u-joint or shaft problems. Been 1.25 60'
My driveshaft guy put it to me like this: "the U-joint and shaft material is stronger than the u-joint cap area of the yokes" when I asked him about upgrading the shaft material of u-joint size.
