typical 12bolt,4.10 pro gear ,spool and billit moser yoke,solid spacer(no crush sleeve)..no slack anywhere,gears are not worn and check great..car will leave a puddle after it sits a few weeks and its from the middle of the yoke where the nut is...i fill the rear till it runs out the side factory weep hole,just like i have done every car i have ever owned..i run a real thick oil so that aint it...i have heard some people put silicone on the threads and washer to seal it up...what is the correct way to do it?

Odd, usually the thread locker on the pinion nut keeps things sealed up. Never heard of a threadlocked nut wicking oil like that.

How to fix it, anywhere from remove the nut and threadlock it or just clean things well and put a bit of rightstuff on the nut face where the leak is.

it might be leaking thru the splines, i use sealer on them, and the washer

I use blue loctite on the threads and ultra gray rtv on both sides of the washer. At this point, I'd spray clean then goop in some rtv sealer.

Most likely the splines at the end yoke, put a little sealer on the back side of the washer
