Kevin - Years ago I owned a small computer company. We used good components and built and sold local businesses quality PCs. This was before Best Buy came and was selling them for less than we could buy the parts for. We survived because we noticed this and shifted our focus from hardware sales to services. Through the services side of the company we were able to sell hardware. Its the same deal with your shop and Jegs/Summit. You will get the hard parts sales through quality services. Just adapt and keep focus on quality service.

I buy a shitload of stuff locally because if I need a part I want to be able to call the owner and have him willing to open up at midnight and hand me the part. I want them to stay here, its in my nest interest so I am willing to pay more on occasion.
