Ok so I pulled the cast wheel 106 and put the billet wheel 114 on what kind of hp gains and power curve differences will I see..also do u think I will have spoolin issues..this is on a sbf 407 inch sbf thanks in advance for any help

well i had the 1.0 on the 106 and now I am going to have the 1.32 a/r but i have all 3 1.0 1.32 and a 1.50 i can try either one what do you guys think..

I got an F trim 106 with similar cubic in motor and have no trouble spooling my 106 with a 1.0a/r. I want to take back pressure measurements to see if a 1.32 will benefit me but havent got the chance yet.

I would start with the 1.32, add 15% off fuel to the map and take 2 degrees of timing out past 5000 RPM, make sure you have two large blow off valves, run to the '330 check the log and plugs, run to the 1/8 check the log and the plugs, run to the 1000' check log and plugs and give it hell from there. I'm no proffessional, thats just what I would try, making small corrections as needed of course.

we are running strictly 1/8 mile with the car it never sees a 1/4 mile..

I would definitely look into changing the cam- or atleast give Barnyard a call to see if the current cam will work. You might have to make a convertor change too. Never know till you try. Make a few hits, get some good logs, then make changes. We can "theorize" and "calculate" all day, but nothing is as good as logged data.

I believe the 114 will spool easier than the 106 w/ the same housing. With the bigger 1.32 its hard to say. From what I seen the 114 will make way more power than the 106.
